Starting at £21,730 (WTE - pro-rata will apply)

Part-time (15-20hrs per week)


Job Summary


We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and innovative individual to join our growing team at an exciting time within Carnforth and Milnthorpe Primary Care Network (PCN).

The PCN Administrator will support the PCN Leadership team consisting of the PCN


Manager, Clinical Director and Deputy Clinical Director with general administrative duties, including project support and the collection of data for the PCN as required.

The position will provide fluidity to manage day to day administrative functions and activities as necessary within the PCN, and the successful applicant will work closely with the

PCN Manager on a day-to-day basis.


This document may be amended following consultation with the post holder to facilitate the development of the role, the PCN and the individual.

All personnel should be prepared to accept additional, or surrender existing duties, to enable the efficient running of the PCN.


Main duties of the job

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Provide direct administrative support to the PCN Leadership team.
  • Support implementation of initiatives/projects through timely and relevant information analysis and administrative support.
  • Collect and collate data as required using local systems.
  • Participating in relevant internal and external working groups and initiatives to provide information to inform the development and delivery of the PCNs strategic objectives.
  • To organise recurring meetings for internal and external participants, minute meetings when required, draw up and maintain accurate action logs, circulating and chasing
outcomes.

  • Supporting PCN team with all other reasonable administration requests.
  • Develop and maintain electronic systems and/or databases required for the role.
  • Maintain all administrative and information resources.

Competencies

  • The PCN Administrator will be required to maintain positive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must have a basic knowledge of Windows and MS Office Apps (Powerpoint, Excel etc)
  • IT literate
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Flexible approach, team player, good sense of humour
