Data Architect - 3-6 Months Contract - £550 - £650pd - Outside IR3- Southeast of England - Remote - 4 Days a month on site
Due to a new client engagement Illuminet are currently looking to hire a Data Architect to join our expanding architecture team on a contract basis.
The role will focus on defining, developing, and promoting the CX Data Architecture strategy that aids thedigital, sales and marketing organisation in achieving their strategic information management goals.
Responsibilities
- To lead DM
- Data Architecture, demonstrating alignment to EDM, IT and Client objectives and ensuring that focus is maintained.
- To actively manage relationships with key stakeholders ensuring that service continues to meet their needs whilst balancing service levels against operational efficiency
- Drive standardisation and simplification across the CX Programme, lowering cost, improving quality and value of data assets
- Define architectures for CDC, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Master Data/Reference Data, integration for data and transaction processing.
- Build the CX conceptual and logical data models for analytics, operational and data mart structures in accordance with industry best practices model(s).
- Design and develop a strategy for Data archiving & Business continuity.
- To provide technical support and expertise to the CX Programme, to ensure data architecture principles are embedded into operational processes.
Experience
- Experience in designing and leading the conceptual, logical, and physical design for distributed databases.
- Experience in driving Meta data architecture and Master Data Management Solutions.
- Experience in performing analysis and design for Data Management and Data Driven projects.
- Experience with Apigee.
- Experience of Cloud Data technologies (preferably XXX), solutions and future Cloud Data Strategies.
Skills
- Strong understanding of activities within primary discipline such as Master Data management (MDM), Metadata Management and Data Governance (DG).
- Consistently demonstrate strong experience in Conceptual, Logical, and Physical architectures, design patterns, best practices, and programming techniques around relational modelling, dimensional modelling, and data integration.
- Strong Business and Data Analysis skills.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills.
- Excellent problem solving and analysis skills
- Excellent communication skills
