Hamilton Court B20 2ET.

Rate Of Pay:

Up to £14 Per Hour (Dependent on BSL training)

Shift Patterns:
Bank Zero Hours

About the service:

As a team we have proven experience in supporting individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviors and our ethos of remaining positive, persistent and consistent will enable individuals with enduring problems to experience the feelings of safety, familiarity and progression that many often haven't experienced before.

Whilst our packages of care and support plans are designed to meet each person's needs, the 24hr care provided by the Onsite team is also supported by the central outreach team who can offer additional and timely support when required e.g.

OT, SLT, Psychology & Psychiatry.

As an organization our highly skilled teams of professionals constantly reflect and review on their practice enabling the team to be consistent in the delivery of quality care.

We utilise evidence
- based practice to guide and define innovative care packages.

Information about the Role:

Working as a Bank Support Worker at your duties will include the following:

Providing physical support which may include helping with household tasks and personal care to a variety of service users including deaf or hard of hearing service users.
Communicating in British Sign Language
Maintain the hygiene, dignity, health, and safety of service users at all times.
Encouraging and supporting the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
Teaching life skills, such as shopping, using public transport and paying for bills.
Working with other healthcare professionals to ensure that all care needs meet the highest possible standards.
Assist in the design and administration of an evaluation of the care standards and care service provision.
If applicable, assist in the administration of medication.

Necessary Experience or Qualifications:

Native signers and/or people with British Sign Language level 2 or above who are competent signers who can support and communicate with deaf adult's. (Desirable)
Someone who has a real passion for caring and helping people.
Ideally 6months experience of working as a Support Worker.
Ability to work on shift/rota pattern.
Have the right to the work in the UK.
