My client is a single academy based in South West London.

With plans to expand, the need has arisen for a Finance Manager to work closely with the SLT to lead on the day to day school finances.

A core focus of the position is to manage the finance financial obligations of the trust, delivering operational compliance with the finance policy, procedures and statutory reporting requirements, supporting the senior leadership team to deliver a high qualityservice within the financial framework.

Management of the Finance Team includes responsibility for line management, financial controls, operations, planning and analysis and developing the Finance Function.

You'll help budget holders by reporting on theirposition and work with HR to support the monthly payroll process.
Applications are sought from individuals with similar experience, ideally gained within a school setting or similar environment.
You'll certainly have the experience of managing a complete budgeting process, along with good transactional accounting and financialreporting experience.
