Description

Duties:

Safely operate a van to transport goods or passengers to their destinations
Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient delivery
Load and unload cargo or passengers using appropriate equipment, such as a pallet jack or forklift
Ensure all items are properly secured and protected during transportation
Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and helpful to customers

Experience:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Previous experience as a van driver or courier is preferred
Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus
Ability to navigate using GPS or maps to find the most efficient routes
Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
