CMA has been appointed to find a Head of Finance to join an established and successful corporate business in Southampton, who offer fully hybrid and flexible working and provide the gateway opportunity to become a Director of Finance within time.

The companyhave doubled in size in the past couple of years' and continue to deliver on exciting projects with long term life spans.

This is a leadership role that will involve hands on delivery, as well as business partnering support for the entire organisation, providingthe opportunity to work alongside passionate and accomplished professionals.

What will the Head of Finance role involve?

  • Leading a high functioning team, to ensure that deadlines are met and outputs are of the highest order, by developing team members and providing solutions to ensure that the department is future proofed for all eventualities.
  • Spearhead business partnering relationships for all other operational 'Heads of', being a part of regular management meetings, whilst delivering first class financial insight for leaders across the business.
  • Working on controls and new systems to deliver better solutions for the future, including ERP implementation.
  • Establish the timely delivery of information to be prepared for Board Pack, and present to the Director of Finance and other senior leaders.
  • Will be an accomplished leader who is ready to develop into an FD position in the near future.
  • This company is agnostic on sector background, however a knowledge of long term contract accounting will be considered extremely beneficial.
  • As leader of finance, you will possess a level of technical reporting knowledge and be expected to develop this knowledge in the view that you will be custodian for all material outputs from the finance function.
