Inspector - Full Time - Leeds, United Kingdom

Sulzer Pumps UK in Leeds is a top employer and one of the world's leading pump manufacturers, Sulzer provides a wide range of products for pumping solutions for water, oil and gas, power, and chemicals industries.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Inspector to join and strengthen our team.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

Dimensional inspection of raw and machined components during different stages of manufacture
Perform nondestructive testing methods (NDT) as per individual qualifications / training
Sign off operations and tasks deemed acceptable during the inspection process
Investigate and raise nonconformances identified during inspection process
Provide instructions for reworks to be undertaken
Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continual improvements

What you bring to Sulzer:

HNC / equivalent in mechanical engineering
Relevant experience within related industry
Knowledge of health and safety requirements
Knowledge and experience using measuring equipment
NDT experience / qualifications is advantageous with not essential
SAP Knowledge and experience
Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
Excellent attention to detail
