What you'll be doing:


  • Liaise with programme management to ensure timely delivery of Air Service Aircrew Technical Publications products to all customers.
  • Identify and interpret source data from various System Design Responsibility organisations, both internally and externally, including Eurofighter GmbH and Project Control Office sources.
  • Assessing and incorporating internal and external customer change requests.
  • Maintaining version and content control to provide accurate configuration control of Aircrew Technical Publications products.
  • Handling of Official Sensitive, Secret and ITAR data.
  • Work scoping/estimating in accordance with departmental procedures.
  • Active in all areas of continuous improvement.

Your skills and experiences:


Essential:


  • Broad experience within aerospace industry / aircraft operations
  • Excellent Communication skills.
  • Degree or equivalent.

Desirable:


  • Armed forces background / aerospace experience.

The Typhoon Aircrew Team:


You will develop leadership experience, the opportunity to work with external organisations and the opportunity to work closely with aircraft systems Subject Matter Experts.

Additionally the opportunity to travel to external UK sites including Ministry of Defence establishments and understanding of how typhoon is operated by the air force.

You will be directly working with aircrew to develop their drill (normal and emergency).

This role will be interesting to learn how the Typhoon aircraft operates and dealing with flight operations teams and general day-to-day Aircrew Technical Publications operations.
