    Principal Engineer, Flow Assurance - 30351

    You will be responsible for supporting Eni's worldwide projects providing technical leadership within the Flow Assurance discipline.

    About the Role

    This is a key role in developing projects and providing expert engineering support to Eni businesses worldwide.

    The position requires extensive experience as a Flow Assurance Engineer throughout the various phases of project development (from concept development to execution) and handover to operations. You must have graduate-level knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics, and be proficient in software such as OLGA, PVTSim, Multiflash, Pipenet, Pipesim, Hysys, Unisim.

    Responsibilities
    • Prepare technical documentation related to Flow Assurance activities during different project phases.
    • Follow up Supplier Call for Tender & Selection when applicable for Flow Assurance discipline.
    • Review and approve FEED, Tender and Detailed Engineering performed by Contractors when applicable for Flow Assurance discipline.
    • Be responsible for flow assurance activities within the Subsea Systems department.
    • Collaborate with other colleagues in the Subsea Systems department, and especially within the Flow Assurance discipline.
    • Liaise with other disciplines during Project execution phase.
    • Awareness of International Standards & Codes.
    • Correct application of Company internal standards and HSEQ policies.

    Requirements
    • Extensive experience as a Flow Assurance Engineer throughout the various phases of project development (from concept development to execution) and handover to operations.
    • Graduate-level knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
    • Proficient usage of software such as OLGA, PVTSim, Multiflash, Pipenet, Pipesim, Hysys, Unisim.
    • Knowledge of programming languages such as Matlab, C++, Phyton.
    • Experience with Technical Audit and Design & Safety Reviews, HAZOP, HAZID's, Risk Assessment.
    • Ability to effectively interface and communicate with other staff, outside flow assurance specialists, shareholders, contractors, and management.
    • Full understanding of importance in planning and executing projects.
    • Ability to handle highly complex and diverse assignments while applying a high level of independent judgment.
