The Role:


The Junior Creative will work closely with the Head of Design and our Brand Team to create visually appealing and effective designs for a variety of media, including print, digital, and social media.

This position requires a strong understanding of design principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work well under tight deadlines.


About You:


  • A talented, creative allrounder with initiative and drive along with a skill set that includes:
  • Knowledge and practical experience of using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design skills and experience
  • Great organisation and a strong creative aesthetic
  • The ability and creativity to produce and edit high quality visually compelling content
  • Strong understanding of branding and advertising principles
  • Good knowledge of photographic software (Lightroom/Photoshop)
  • A design sensibility for shape, colour, composition and storytelling
  • An awareness of video/graphic design for online use, specifically social media
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
  • A strategic selfstarter outlook, someone who can create impact quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to work with colleagues cooperatively and collaboratively in the team and across the organization
  • A flexible approach both to the type of work undertaken and working hours as required to meet team objectives and ultimately customer needs, taking ownership and responsibility for work and performance

Key Responsibilities:


  • Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledges of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts
  • Collaborate with the team to develop design concepts and execute final designs
  • Prepare rough drafts and present ideas to the team
  • Incorporate changes recommended by the team into final designs
  • Creating graphics and videos for use on social media and our website
  • Producing print ready artwork for packing and print items
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and incorporate them into design work
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the creative process

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in video editing or creating motion graphics/animation and experience of using Adobe After Effects is desirable
  • Experience in UI/UX design

Job Types:

Salary:
£24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
