Gateshead is recruiting for a brilliantly organised team player to join us as the Home Administrator.

This is your opportunity to shine and bring a safe pair of hands to administrative tasks to ensure the smooth management of the Home on full-time basis Mon-Fri 9-5 dependent on the needs of the business.

We work hard to meet the needs of the residents and their relatives and friends, and this requires us to be organised and efficient.

The role involves ensuring the smooth running of the Care Home, general office admin tasks, various HR & PA responsibilities as well as supporting the Nursing and Management teams.

Part of the role involves assisting staff as part of a team including maintaining and ordering supplies whilst also maintaining your own workload on separate projects.

There are some regular everyday tasks such as filing notes, helping keep the team organised, and assisting with recruitment.

There will be a requirement to write and submit various reports and help the team co-ordinate and help ensure we meet staffing numbers.

This role would be suitable for someone with strong organisational skills, who is able to set up processes and systems to support the Care Home in running smoothly.

You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, have excellent organisational / communication skills and previous administrator / PA experience, ideally, but not essentially, in a care/health setting.

Working hours are 37.5 hours across 5 days.
