Are you an individual who has experience leading and supporting vacancy management and resourcing activities? Do you have experience of creating and designing vacancy adverts and campaigns, including virtual/social media platforms? If so, we have this fantastic opportunity as HR Consultant - Recruitment at Nottingham City Council with _a world of wonder on our doorstep_

We are looking to appoint three highly driven and motivated HR Consultants to our new Recruitment programme team.

Supporting work to deliver changes to our recruitment policy, processes and practice, you will be passionate about improving recruitment outcomes across the organisation by delivering developments in how we recruit and attract talent.


Passionate about bringing about the best outcomes for citizens? This role provides the perfect opportunity for you to bring your creativity to life with the design and implementation of impactful resourcing campaigns and approaches, with a focus on hard to recruit roles, that enable us to have the workforce in place to achieve our goals.

You will use your strong stakeholder management skills to advise and support managers and work with them to find solutions to their recruitment and retention challenges.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:


  • Knowledge of legislation and modern approaches relevant to recruitment and talent acquisition, and experience in providing technical support and advice to managers on recruitment
  • Previous experience of recruiting for talent across different functions/sectors including handling high priority and challenging resourcing requirements
  • Ability to undertake research activities, including experience of analysing complex information, to make develop and deliver improvements to the service
  • Ability to support the development of HR policy and practice
  • Ability to initiate, facilitate and plan, organise and deliver projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience of creating or designing vacancy adverts and campaigns, including on virtual/social media platforms.
