ROLE PURPOSE

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop and implement the short, medium, and longterm strategy for the estate.
  • Provide leadership and clear direction to all colleagues working on delivering the strategy.
  • Line management of an Asset Manager who will work with you to deliver the portfolio's targets.
  • Coordinate and drive business as usual activities across other departments
  • Professional Services, Property Management, Lettings, Development etc to deliver maximum value from the estate.
  • Take ownership of all estate metrics, including rent roll, ERVs (Estimated Rental Values), occupancy rates, and other relevant performance indicators.
  • Manage and nurture key customer relationships to maximise growth opportunities, customer satisfaction and company reputation
  • Collaborate with the Finance/Credit Control teams to develop strategies for resolving significant customer arrears.
  • Identify and implement valueadded initiatives beyond routine operations, such as lease regears, surrenders and relettings, adhoc transactions, and terminations.
  • Work closely with the leasing team on larger and more complex transactions involving capital expenditures and planning, as necessary.
  • Assist the Acquisition and Disposal teams as required, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Liaise with external valuers when necessary to ensure accurate and uptodate property valuations.
  • Represent The Arch Company in local Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) and other stakeholder groups.
  • Take on any other related responsibilities necessary to deliver the objectives as the role evolves over time.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrable asset management experience including leading teams to deliver shared goals.
  • Experience of successfully executing complex transactions.
  • Comfortable utilising a datadriven approach to decisionmaking, leveraging key metrics to assess asset performance and identify valueadd opportunities.
  • Experience working collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • MRICS qualified (+5 years PQE).
