ROLE PURPOSE

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Develop and implement the short, medium, and longterm strategy for the estate.
Provide leadership and clear direction to all colleagues working on delivering the strategy.
Line management of an Asset Manager who will work with you to deliver the portfolio's targets.
Coordinate and drive business as usual activities across other departments
Professional Services, Property Management, Lettings, Development etc to deliver maximum value from the estate.
Take ownership of all estate metrics, including rent roll, ERVs (Estimated Rental Values), occupancy rates, and other relevant performance indicators.
Manage and nurture key customer relationships to maximise growth opportunities, customer satisfaction and company reputation
Collaborate with the Finance/Credit Control teams to develop strategies for resolving significant customer arrears.
Identify and implement valueadded initiatives beyond routine operations, such as lease regears, surrenders and relettings, adhoc transactions, and terminations.
Work closely with the leasing team on larger and more complex transactions involving capital expenditures and planning, as necessary.
Assist the Acquisition and Disposal teams as required, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
Liaise with external valuers when necessary to ensure accurate and uptodate property valuations.
Represent The Arch Company in local Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) and other stakeholder groups.
Take on any other related responsibilities necessary to deliver the objectives as the role evolves over time.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Demonstrable asset management experience including leading teams to deliver shared goals.
Experience of successfully executing complex transactions.
Comfortable utilising a datadriven approach to decisionmaking, leveraging key metrics to assess asset performance and identify valueadd opportunities.
Experience working collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
MRICS qualified (+5 years PQE).
