We are looking for an reliable, enthusiastic and dedicated individual who pride themselves on providing excellent customer service to join our supportive and rewarding flexible staffing team.


This Flexible Communications Lead assignment within Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trustbmonths in the first instance and hours are Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week.

You will be working on a Bank (0 hour base) contract with staffing solutions.

In return we can offer you a competitive pay rate of £27.92 (Inclusive of 12.5% annual leave uplift WTD and enhancements) with the option of being paid weekly or monthly and a range of opportunities, training and experiences.


To support the You Matter, Healthy Minds and TalkingSpace Plus service to deliver on the objectives set of increasing referrals generally and specifically from those in under-represented groups.

TalkingSpace Plus and Healthy Minds

Develop and oversee communication and marketing plan

Develop new marketing leads, particularly with employers.

Lead on content creation (comms, social media, websites, articles, leaflets and posters, etc.)

Practical delivery in delivering marketing plan.


You Matter:

Develop and monitor the communications and marketing plan across Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. Updating the YM newsletter, NHS Futures site, YM website and YM social media as required. Liaising with key stakeholders across the BOB ICB. Postholder to update the Clinical Service Lead of developments, on a weekly basis.

Project lead on 'Expert by Experience' this supports feedback of staff members who have used the YM service.

Input of staff members can be wide ranging from a few words of praise, poems or videos detailing their experience of using the YM service.

With consent, this feedback is utilised in comms and marketing to promote the YM service.

Support YM sector leads with their outreach work in the 6 YM sectors. Support with presentations and proofing


Staffing Solutions is Oxford Health's internal temporary staffing bank, we source our own flexible workers to cover temporary administrative placements in a variety of areas across the Trust.


We help the organisation meet all its temporary staffing needs, allowing teams to continue to provide high quality care to service users.

Strategy development and planning

Work in collaboration with the Clinical Service Leads to

  • Actively engage with key stakeholders (decisionmakers/influencers) to align with the teams' objectives.
  • Influence local level strategies, priorities and plans where necessary paying particular attention to hard to reach staff groups
  • Working with the senior management teams, ensuring that the whole team develops in alignment with the NHS E objectives for Hubs and the national IAPT programmes
  • Ensure that the roll out of REACT, SHAPE elements of the Hub is delivered
Change Leadership

Work collaboratively with the local leaders in different sectors to:

  • Develop an implementation plan for You Matter as directed by Hub Steering group
  • Continuously identify and make recommendations to the steering group for improvement, influencing changes to local practices within the Hub and with key stakeholders as required
  • Understand and overcome barriers to change, raising issues to the Clinical Service Lead where necessary
  • Work closely with the BOB EOH&W Systems Lead to enable alignment of the two work streams
Project Management / Marketing

  • Develop and oversee communication and marketing plan
  • Develop new marketing leads, particularly with employers.
  • Support the scoping & planning of You Matter across the BOB ICS.
  • Collaboratively develop and monitor a communications and marketing plan across Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire
  • Lead on content creation (comms, social media, websites, articles, leaflets and posters, etc.)
  • Practical delivery in delivering marketing plan.
  • Ensure project remains within budget and time deadlines
  • Execute plan through both virtual and onsite activities where appropriate, remaining respectful of IP&C (Infection Prevention and Control) at all times
  • Manage identified risks for Trusts associated with the Hub and escalate any unresolved issues with the Clinical Service Lead
  • Work across and with a range of stakeholders representing the whole system
  • Ensure that all project and programme documentation
