Digby ward is a 28 bedded Trauma Orthopaedic and Urology ward. We have an exciting opportunity for you to develop your skills and utilise skills you already possess. The role will include the assessment, planning implementation and discharge of these patients.

We aim to offer a gold standard service in which we will offer patients whom utilize our service the access to rapid diagnostics, a clear plan of care, to be then discharged.

The team work closely with Allied Health Professionals and take a multi-disciplinary approach to care provision.


We are looking for someone who can demonstrate and champion the Trusts behaviours and key values having knowledge to support the Dignity in Care Agenda.


A person who can work on own initiative and as part of a team to provide an environment that focuses on the patient and their experience maintaining confidentiality at all times.


You will be working closely with the nursing team and assist with referrals to social services, district nurses amongst others to provide an effective and timely discharge.

Experience in using Medway and Trust paperwork is desirable, as you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective admissions and discharges of our patients.

Digby Ward requires a structured process to care delivery, therefore requires a calm individual whom can cope under pressure.

This opportunity is especially exciting for someone who can provide clerical and administration support to the ward team and customer care to patients and visitors being at times the first port of call.

An individual with excellent communication skills is essential.

This role therefore requires a highly motivated individual who can use initiative, manage their time and work well in the team.
