Your role as Assistant Accountant will look like this:

Maintaining records for clients from a wide range of sectors, producing accounts to trial balance.
Creating first level management reports, processing month end journals
Preparing VAT returns for clients
Liaising directly with your clients to ensure all appropriate information obtained to complete assignments.
Be part way through your AAT qualification, or qualified by experience
Experience of bookkeeping and VAT returns in an accountancy practice
