We have a rare opportunity to join our despatch day shift team with an immediate start available at our bakery manufacturing facility on Carnaby Industrial Estate in Bridlington.

Immediate Start following induction
Permanent Contract
Starting at £12.50 per hour with overtime available
Monday to Friday
06:00 to 14:00

Working closely with leading UK supermarkets and retailers, we specialise in high-volume production of top quality, artisan bakery products.

We are currently recruiting for a despatch/stores operative to join our dedicated and friendly team.

Full training is available for everyone but the main duties include:

Carry out daily stocktake of all products, record and distribute to relevant third parties;
Ensure all goodsin are handled, checked and booked onto navigation system and BQF 88 paper forms;
Carry out a full site stocktake for the Group Purchasing department accordingly;
Communicate logístically with Reed Bordall regarding collections/deliveries;
Daily shift handover with Front Line Manager(s) on duty;
Ensure all pallets are labelled correctly and appropriately segregated;
Keep production Front Line Managers and Team Leaders up to date with stock levels;
Ensure a 'clean as you go' approach and keep good housekeeping standards at all times;
Supervise and support operatives;
Ensure sufficient deputies are available to cover the role;
Ensure that all personnel pursue safe working practices at all times.

This is not an exhaustive list of duties. You are required to undertake any other request as required by management.

In addition, you will undertake any training that the company deems necessary that may assist you to effectively carry out the above responsibilities.
