Description

• Carrying out general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping/vacuuming of floors, cleaning of walls and raised surfaces
• Cleaning toilet/bathroom facilities
• Emptying general waste and recycling bins as required
• Cleaning up spillages where required
• Safe and responsible handling, storage and use of industrial cleaning chemicals
• Keeping cleaning supplies stocked
• Maintaining cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaner bags etc)
• Operating cleaning equipment (floor scrubber, vacuum cleaner)
• Reporting safety concerns regarding products and equipment
• Cover for holidays and sickness at our Southwell site, if required. Company car can be provided for travel between the sites.
• Completing daily/weekly task sheets
• Working with other departments to arrange appropriate times to carry out cleaning operations
• To participate in training, as requested
• To perform any other duties as reasonably required by your Manager

• Essential_
• Level 1 Maths and English or equivalent.
• Driving licence with no more than 3 points
• Desirable_
• Level 2 Maths and English or equivalent.

• Previous cleaning experience in a factory environment
