Our Senior carers lead a team of dedicated carers to deliver high quality and person centred care to our residents, helping them make the most of their stay with us.
As well as helping with personal care our senior carers will also safely administer medication and maintain assessment and records.
you should have experience as a care assistant with a minimum of a NVQ level 2 or equivalent in health and social care.
If you are not quite at level 3 we will support you to complete this qualification as well.Most importantly you should have experience in leading people and motivating them to help deliver the care you would expect.
A dedication to record keeping is important as is a warm and caring outlook.We have strong and productive relationships with external professionals and you will be bale to use them to help get the best for our residents and to support your own role.
Our manager and deputy manager will support in an aspects of the role where you feel you could benefit from their input, both have been in post many years and have a wealth of experience to share.
Our care home is family owned and run, with a long held reputation for warm and welcoming care.We are rated as good across the board by CQC and as a non-corporate provider we makes choices focussed on our residents and there wellbeing, not targets and quotas.
We invest in our team with plenty of training available and delivered by a person not just quizzes online, time spent training is paid for as are uniforms and pre-employment checks.
We can help with access to wellbeing resources for staff and are always available to talk, as a small organisation we are personal and not faceless.

Our care home follows national guidance which includes continued use of PPE where appropriate for staff and visitors.
