Description
A multinational business are looking to recruit an Tax Technology Manager to join their Windsor office.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and direct the implementation of remediation action plans following risk reviews that have identified processes and controls for improvement
  • Continue the establishment of robust control frameworks with appropriate policies and a RAID (risk, actions, issues, decisions) log, including risk & control matrices
  • Develop an assurance programme including regular testing of controls and a tax training programme for the Business
  • Define the data needs of the tax team and continue the development of the tax digitalisation roadmap aligned with group wide strategies
  • Deliver tactical and strategic data and digital solutions set out in the tax digitalisation roadmap
  • Assist tax team members in establishing individual development programmes to deliver personal development plans
  • Support the tax leadership team in reporting to the Senior Accounting Officers/Business Unit CFOs and Audit Committee on tax risk management

Key:

  • Proven track record of delivering tax transformations either as an adviser or inhouse
  • Strong understanding of enterprise risk management and internal audit work
  • Good knowledge of the role of data and the use of technology in managing tax
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems including SAP
  • Working knowledge of OneSource (indirect and direct tax) would be an advantage
  • Strong project management skills
  • Good communication and influencing skills
  • Selfmotivated with ability to take ownership and work autonomously
  • Tax technical and accounting qualifications are not required but would likely be advantageous
