Axcis Education are looking for dedicated and highly motivated behavioural support workers working in a school in Wigan supporting students with:

Severe challenging Behaviour
SEMH (Social, emotional, mental health)

The school is a trauma-informed therapeutic school, the school also have their own therapy team on-site

The therapy team includes:

Psychotherapy

- speech and language therapy
- occupational therapy

Job information:

Days: Monday to Friday full time
Pay: £100 a day

- contract: Long term, temporary with the chance to become permanent

Location: Wigan

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to young people.

You will be required to work with small groups with primary and secondary age pupils, assisting them within the classroom.

You must have a calm nature and ability to deescalate situations
This role is ideal for residential support worker, mental health support workers, ex police officers, exmilitary personnel
DBS on the update service or willing to pay £44.74 for one with us
They will have experience of working with students who have SEMH needs and challenging behaviour

If you consider yourself to be an outstanding TA with a special needs background and have worked with children with special educational needs and disabilities, then this could be the job for you
