EMEA Flow Equity Derivatives Trader
What is the opportunity?
You will trade and risk manage the Global Equities Flow Trading books in Europe.
What will you do?
Trading:
- Maximize the capture and retention of sales credit and client value
- Timely price sales requests
- Keep P&L volatility under control
- Minimize discrepancies between desk P&L and daily financial reporting figures
- Consistently and frequently update parameters (volatility, dividends, correlation)
- Maintain reserves under control
Risk Management:
- Ensure books are within GRM and Desk appointed limits and product mandate, while anticipating any overlimits by requesting preapproval from both Management and GRM
- Recycle client business risks and do so internally when possible
- Minimize operational losses (due to trading actions)
Technology:
- Work with Front Office BT on refining and maintaining existing technology platform
- Develop platform across regions with Flow and Structured Products
- Frequency and quality of interaction
- Dialogue and frequency of trading across regions
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- MBA or Undergraduate/Graduate degree in finance, economics or mathematics
- Related trading experience
- Capital Markets experience and in depth knowledge of equity derivatives products and risk
- Eligible or previously approved person and EU exchange registration exams
