Description

The key responsibilities include:

Ensure the effective operation of the academic services provision of the Faculty including optimal

allocation of academic and infrastructure resources.

To lead the Faculty Academic Services team, and line manage staff, ensuring staff have a supportive

and enabling environment in which they can deliver objectives, develop their own performance, and
provide excellent customer service.

Support the development of new programmes for the academic portfolio, and lead on operational

aspects of the academic programme delivery.

Provide professional services advice to the Faculty Senior Management Team including but not limited

to assisting the Executive Dean/Deputy Dean with objective and strategic development along with
generating and implementing relevant KPIs.

Profile

Person Specification:

Significant leadership and management experience at a senior level.
Full understanding of the student experience.
Strong organisation and time management skills.
Demonstrable evidence of staff management capability, including team working and motivational activities, as well as managing problem areas such as performance and discipline.
Excellent oral and written communication.
