Logistics Coordinator
About the role:
- Daily contact with the courier companies regarding collections
- Dealing with any problems that may appear with couriers
- Entering details onto our ERP systems
- Manage and coordinate logistics including arranging transport, delivery and arrange administration between suppliers and customers
- Dealing with claims
- Produce logistics schedules and reports and communicate updates and any concerns to relevant parties
- Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs
- Implement all processes to agreed standards and targets and support continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas of improvement
This is a role for someone with the confidence and experience to ensure all operations are functioning smoothly and in accordance with the procedures put in place.
About you:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience dealing with courier companies
- Computer literate, especially in Excel
- Good numerical skills and attention to detail,
- Selfmotivated and results orientated, flexible and works well under pressure
- You will have the ability to listen and to think on your feet,
- You will enjoy working in a small, friendly team and be approachable in nature
- A cando attitude and willingness to learn
Hours are:
Monday to Friday 10 am - 6 pm
Salary:
doe £25,000 to £30,000
