Logistics Coordinator

About the role:


  • Daily contact with the courier companies regarding collections
  • Dealing with any problems that may appear with couriers
  • Entering details onto our ERP systems
  • Manage and coordinate logistics including arranging transport, delivery and arrange administration between suppliers and customers
  • Dealing with claims
  • Produce logistics schedules and reports and communicate updates and any concerns to relevant parties
  • Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs
  • Implement all processes to agreed standards and targets and support continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas of improvement


This is a role for someone with the confidence and experience to ensure all operations are functioning smoothly and in accordance with the procedures put in place.


About you:


  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience dealing with courier companies
  • Computer literate, especially in Excel
  • Good numerical skills and attention to detail,
  • Selfmotivated and results orientated, flexible and works well under pressure
  • You will have the ability to listen and to think on your feet,
  • You will enjoy working in a small, friendly team and be approachable in nature
  • A cando attitude and willingness to learn

Hours are:
Monday to Friday 10 am - 6 pm


Salary:
doe £25,000 to £30,000
