We are an SME (Small Medium Enterprise) that are key suppliers to some truly global customers.

We are constantly looking to continually improve our processes and conditions so we can be our customers supplier of choice over the coming years.

We can only achieve this with the support and input of our production team feeding into the site leadership team.

If you think this could be for you, a re-structuring of the existing team has led to the need for an additional member to support our increasing order book.

We machine & press mild steel components from plasma and flame cut profiles on a range of standard and multi-axis CNC milling and machining centres and press brakes.

We are looking for an organised, self-motivated and enthusiastic Press Brake Operator.

The role will predominantly involve,

Operation of our 80t, 100t & 250t presses during the day shift.
Use of overhead & jib cranes to load & unload parts.
Monitoring the quality of pressed parts at first off stage and throughout the process.
Changing over the presses as and when required.
Maintaining and improving housekeeping in the working area.
Be physically fit.
Have a good eye for detail.
Be able to take instruction.
Have worked in a similar manufacturing environment / used similar equipment (brake presses, overhead and jib cranes
Crane
experience is preferable).

Hours of work are:

07:00 16:30 Monday Thursday
07:00 11:00 Friday (40 hours total).
Midmorning break (paid)
Lunch break 30 mins unpaid
Free tea & coffee.

Training will be provided where required.
