We are recruiting for a Junior Credit Controller to work for a well established business based in Halstead.

With bright, modern offices, based in a brand new building with the newest technologies our client offers hybrid working, clear paths for career progressionand monthly cash incentives.


Due to company expansion, this role would be a perfect starting point for someone to being a career in finance or continue their journey as a credit controller.


Ideally, you will have sound experience using Microsoft Excel, with the ability to do v lookups and pivot tables, with proven experience of excellent customer service and communication skills.


Duties include:

  • Checking customers' credit, approving or denying it, based on industry standards
  • Ensuring customers pay on time
  • Involvement with overdue debt customers
  • Recording and writing off bad debts
  • Starting legal proceedings if clients do not pay their debts on time
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Being able to improve procedures/processes
  • Implementing new system/software
