Production Controller

Opportunity for an experienced Production Controller or Export / Logistics Coordinator who is looking to develop further.

We are currently recruiting for a Production Controller to help ensure customer orders are delivered to schedule and quality. This is a varied role that will see you work closely with several departments. Strong communication and organisational skills are needed for this role. There is clear scope to develop and implement your own ideas over time. Excellent opportunity to establish a career within a highly reputable business.

Salary:
c£30,000 - £35,000 as a starting guide. Possibly flexible depending on experience.

This Production Controller job will suit:

An experienced Coordinator / Controller / Scheduler with strong organisation skills to ensure products are delivered to customer requirements and timescales.
Excellent communication skills, someone who is comfortable working with several internal departments, subcontractors, and customers.
Some prior experience with ERP / MRP systems, comfortable with general IT systems.

The Production Coordinator is responsible for:

Managing customer orders through the use of an ERP system.
Working closely with sales, engineering, and wider teams to ensure orders are delivered to schedule.
Maintaining and managing stock levels to ensure production demands are met.
Updating customers on order schedules. Liaising with suppliers.
