We are hiring


We are seeking a part-time Night Porter, ideally with experience of working in a hotel in this position, to join our team here at The Arundell.


An old coaching inn, situated in the village of Lifton, The Arundell is a privately-owned country sports hotel tucked away on the Devon & Cornwall border.


The role will include:

  • Primary responsibility for fire safety and guest welfare in case of an emergency
  • Ensuring the hotel is secure; regular patrols of the hotel and garden
  • Some late night guest check ins and guest enquiries
  • Running washer and dryer laundry cycles for housekeeping
  • Ensuring the floors are cleaned and polished
  • Ensuring all refuse has been removed from the hotel to the commercial bins
The role is part-time, two nights a week (16 hours).

Salary:
From £10.50 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 16 per week
