About the position:

This is an extraordinary opportunity for a skilled and seasoned Game Designer to have a significant impact on the future of our debut game, Love & Pies.

The Game Designer will play a pivotal role in fulfilling Trailmix's mission: to create engaging environments where millions of individuals can thrive.

Responsibilities:

Designing effective live operations for a casual audience, including developing new templates
Creating various features, from established playbook elements to innovative game enhancements
Analyzing and refining live operations/features post-release, leading efforts to implement improvements
Addressing different areas of the game as needed, such as exploring player engagement and fine-tuning the in-game economy
Mentoring and positively influencing the design team, supporting their learning and professional growth

Requirements:

Substantial experience in game design, particularly in creating features and events for free-to-play mobile games
An integrated approach: focusing on system design while acknowledging the significance of narrative design
A player-centric mindset, advocating for the audience's needs and desires in idea generation
Familiarity with the casual mobile gaming market, staying updated on the latest industry trends
Proficiency in analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data to drive decision-making
Demonstrated ability to work independently, delivering high-quality work within set timelines
Knowledge of and capability to implement effective practices for a demanding content release schedule
Curiosity and drive to continuously enhance processes and the overall gaming experience

Location:

Trailmix currently follows a hybrid work model, with 3 in-person workdays (Monday, Thursday & Friday) at our new Kings X studio and 2 remote workdays.
