Overview:
We at PVL Services are seeking a skilled General Builder to join our team. As a Builder, you will be responsible for constructing, fabricating, and assembling various structures and components.

This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as knowledge of various construction techniques.

Most of our works is in the Cotswold area but we do have a lot of maintenance work up & down the midlands.


Responsibilities:


  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
  • Measure, cut, and shape materials using hand tools and power tools
  • Fabricate and assemble structural components such as walls, roofs, and floors
  • Install doors, windows, and other fixtures
  • Perform carpentry work including framing, trim work, and cabinetry
  • Conduct masonry work such as laying bricks or stones
  • Lay paving slabs & block paving to a high standard.
  • General Groundworks.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Builder or similar role
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques and materials
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
  • Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina
  • Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
  • Strong problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Preferably have own van.


Job Types:
Full-time, Freelance, Zero hours contract


Pay:
£200.00-£220.00 per day
