    Key responsibilities of this role include Preparation of year end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders to a high standardPreparation of corporation tax computations and returnsDaily bookkeeping and preparing and filing monthly and quarterly VAT returns under all types of VAT schemesPreparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts to a high standardLiaising with clients on queries to ensure work is completeAssist with the development and training of junior members of the teamAd-hoc work to support the ManagersDesired skills and experience AAT qualified and a minimum of part-qualified ACA / ACCAMinimum 2 years' experience working in practiceWorking knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102Sound accounting system knowledge and experience of CCH, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks and Alphatax, preferred but not essentialAbility to develop client relationshipsHands on, diligent and able to demonstrate excellent client interpersonal skillsExcellent organisational skills and ability to multi-taskProficient with Excel, Word and OutlookTeam player with a strong work ethic and driveAbility to work under own initiative and to tight deadlinesRemuneration Package Competitive salary, subject to experienceFlexible and hybrid working arrangements including flexitime and working from home.

    Office closing at 2.30pm every FridayDiscretionary annual bonusFull study support, if required23 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays), increasing by 1 day per year post qualified up to a maximum of 28 days
