This post provides an exciting opportunity for an individual with relevant research experience who wishes to pursue a clinical academic career in Public Health and Epidemiology.

You will work as part of a team of over 30 researchers who make up the Health Inequalities Policy Research Group
  • Our vision is to improve health and reduce inequalities through the study of the determinants of health and wellbeing and the policies that impact them.
You will receive exceptional research and policy engagement training within a leading research group, and benefit from dedicated support and expertise to develop highly-competitive proposals for further research funding (e.g. fellowships).
  • Clinical training in Public Health will be undertaken within a North West School of Public Health GMC approved training location.
  • You will be at ST3 or above, and have demonstrated research interests in health inequalities or a related Public Health area, and shown outstanding potential for development as a clinical academic.
You will have completed or are soon to complete a PhD in a relevant area, e.g. public health, epidemiology, economics, geography, psychology, health service research, computer science, statistics (to be fully awarded in order to take up the post).
  • The post is available for 4 years or until CCT.
You must be able to take up the post before 30 June Interviews will take place early 2023.
