Description

General kitchen, communal rooms and dining room duties to include; the washing up of all crockery and utensils, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables, cleaning of the kitchen and dining room surrounds and equipment to include all work surfaces, dining furniture, floors and walls.

To collect all breakfast trays and used crockery within each service user's bedroom

To deliver daily newspapers to bedrooms, whilst collecting breakfast trays

To wash up breakfast crockery, morning coffee crockery, lunch time crockery and all miscellaneous crockery

To serve morning refreshments to include drink supplements to allocated individuals

To assist with the serving of serving of meals if required

To work as part of a team to meet quality assurance standards.

To set up dining tables prior to meal times and post meal times ;to change tablecloths and ensure condiments are stocked ready for use

To work well within the team, with the service users, their families, colleagues and outside agencies.

To assist in the serving of lunch, desserts and refreshments if required.
