Stellex Manufacturing Ltd based in Hadston-Northumberland offers an extensive range of products for use in the catering industry, from the simplest of tables for food preparation through to bespoke and high spec servery counters.

Throughout the Company's trading history, we have earned a reputation with the catering fabrication and distributor markets for providing high quality solutions and services to all its end users.

We are now looking to recruit for a
Press Brake - Punch Operator to join our team.

Please note the hours of work for this role are:

Monday - Thursday - 16:00 pm - 02:00 am

Role Overview:

This role is responsible for operating an Amada CNC Press Brake machine and also operating the Punch Machine.

Other duties involved in the role are as follows:

Main duties will include:

Adjust and load tools as required to perform correct folds and bends to produce a variety of mils and stainlesssteel components.
To read and interpret engineering drawings.
The setup, maintenance, & operation of Stellex Manufacturing CNC punch press.
The sharpening of punch related tooling using a semiautomated tool sharpener.
Maintain and ensure equipment is safe, clean and in good working order.
The "breaking out" and deburring of punched parts for further processing.
Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy, adhering to Health and Safety procedures and policies at all times.
Assist with any other task as required in line with business needs and as required within your skill set and experience.

Skills & Experience Required:

Must possess experience in operating and setting press brake machines
Have knowledge and experience using Amada CNC machines
Have knowledge and experience of using Punch machines.
Possess good communication, organisational and numeracy skills.
Be able to work within a team or on your own.
Possess a 'can do' attitude.
Pay attention to detail and quality.
