Accounts Payable Clerk

Ellesmere Port

Full time - Permanent role

Hybrid option


Role and Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the P2P process, processing invoices both with and without purchase orders.
  • Handling of all invoice queries, liaising with staff and stakeholders to find a satisfactory resolution.
  • Arranging regular electronic payment runs, ensuring that suppliers are paid to agreed terms, whilst keeping ad hoc payments to a minimum.
  • Supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Documentation management i.e. electronic invoice archiving.
  • Preparing and posting monthly journals.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Proficient in the use of an established ERP system, such as AX Dynamics, SAP, or Oracle.
  • Exposure to excel and Microsoft office.
  • Able to demonstrate significant experience working within Accounts Payable, ideally with 1 to 2 years accountability.
  • Exposure to the production of detailed and accurate management information/reports.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Benefits:

37.5 per week - Work between 7am - 7pm (core between 10am and 3pm)

Hybrid -up to 40% working from home (after probation)

Bonus - on target 4% (depending on personal and business performance this can move up to 30%)

Holidays - 25 per year plus bank holidays. These increase to 28 in line with service

Pension
- on joining 5% / 5%, after probation period, this can move up to 10% / 15%('er)
