The role:


Working within the Shared Service Centre and reporting to the Credit Control Manager The role of the Accounts Receivable Controller is to ensure that the debtor list is maintained and kept to a minimum.

Liaising with the Senior Credit Controller, all internal departments and clients the post holder will also be responsibility for ensuring quality standards and KPIS are met, while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Key responsibilities:


  • Maintain notes within Sage 200following all communication with clients to provide accurate record as to thestatus of invoices.
  • Produce statement of accounts.
  • Allocate BACS and cheque payments.
  • Resolve queries both internally andexternally around outstanding invoices.
  • Assist with the training anddevelopment of the team members and to act as a mentor to new staff.
  • Process credit card payments.
  • Accurate input of direct debit details and preparation of direct debit collection.

Experience:


  • Internal credit control and salesprocesses
  • Sage 200/Sage 50 desirable
  • Intermediate Excel
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Query resolution process
  • Call handling protocol
