BMC Recruitment is delighted to be working with a law firm in the Newcastle upon Tyne area to assist them in their recruitment for a HR Administrator to join the team on a permanent basis.


Background


Reporting into the Head of People and Culture this role is ideal for an HR Administrator or HR Assistant looking for a new challenge, or an administrator looking to move into HR.The role is full time site based.


Duties & Responsibilities
The role will encompass providing support on the full employee lifecycle including:

  • Administering the recruitment process
  • Conducting preemployment checks
  • Maintaining the HRIS and producing reports as required
  • Perform annual audits of employee information to ensure the information held is correct and up to date
  • Ensuring all probationary period information is completed and filed correctly
  • Ensuring all policies are reviewed on a bimonthly basis
  • Book training courses and workshops for employees
  • Keep accurate records of all performance management and appraisals

Person specification

  • Previous administration experience is essential with HR Administration experience desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

£20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
