Piroto Labelling Limited is a small / medium size Company employing 40+ staff with an annual turnover in excess of £8 million.

Operating independently since 1987, we produce a wide variety of printed label and tag products for many well-known companies. The business requires good teamwork and communication skills.

We place a lot of emphasis on quality of service and consistency of product which depend on a high level of co-operation where everyone can rely on each other.

We manufacture self-adhesive labels and tags for the food, pharmaceutical, warehouse, retail and garment industries. We operate specialised multi-colour label printing presses, printing up to 8 colours in one pass, including variable digital print. Our largest market is in food retailing and food processing, where reaction times to our customers' demands sometimes need to be very fast - labels are often the last thing they think of and can be the item that takes longest to produce

It is an exciting time to join Piroto following recent investment in new printing and finishing equipment and planned redevelopment of our premises to accommodate the forecasted growth of the business.

A vacancy has arisen in our Production Area for a Production Planner.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualifications:

Educated to GCSE (minimum 5 grades A-C including English and Mathematics) or the equivalent.


Experience:

Experience of working in a business environment and ideally in a manufacturing background.

A good level of education coupled with experience of computer software and a strong IT background would also be needed.

Additional experience in Purchasing and/or stock management would be advantageous.


Personal Aptitudes and Skills:

Previous Production Planning experience welcome but not necessary.

Competent with Microsoft OS and IT, strong skills with Excel are wanted.

Flexible approach to work and a desire to get the job done.

Methodical with strong organisational ability.

Accurate and articulate.

The ability to communicate effectively.

Eagerness to learn and develop, with a strong personal drive.
