Financial Analyst - Hybrid Working


Search are looking to hire a newly created Financial Analyst position in to a well established, private equity backed business.

You will be responsible for preparing analysis reports for the business and will have involvement in various process improvement projects.

This is a fantastic new position for recent accounting and finance graduate who has had some experience within the accountingfield and is now looking to progress.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • To prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports, issue them to the business and respond to any queries.
  • To provide/assist with the preparation of a variety of analysis as requested.
  • To assist with the maintenance of existing macros and to respond to any queries from their users.
  • To assist with the setting up of new macros with a view to understanding how they work and ultimately developing these in the future.
  • To assist with the scheduling, running and troubleshooting of various automated robotic processes.
  • To assist with implementation of improvements to current reporting procedures.
  • To assist the Business Analyst in various projects to improve and automate business processes.

Requirements:


  • Excellent Excel skills, able to create formulae and manipulate data
  • A basic understanding of macros and VBA is desirable
  • Ideally, a degree within and accounting or mathematics field
  • Some experience within a finance department with a desire to progress into a more analytic or technical role
