Bouncy Bear Childcare - Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship

The Aspire Training Team are looking for a punctual, reliable and flexible individual to complete a Level 2 Childcare apprenticeship with Bouncy Bear Childcare based in Wellington, Somerset.

Established in 2004, Bouncy Bear Childcare provide a high level of childcare in a warm, fun and welcoming environment to ensure the children in their care have the best opportunity reach their potential.

They have a fantastic team of Nursery Practitioners who all support one another and work hard to make sure that all their children are kept safe at all times.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take their first steps towards a career in Childcare, whilst working with highly qualified and dedicated childcare practitioners, who offer a wealth of childcare experience & support.

Your duties and responsibilities as an apprentice will include:

Planning and assisting with setting up different activities for the children
Interacting with the children
Occasional day trips
Encourage children's development
Interacting with parents (once trained)
Supporting with meal times and snacks
Supporting with personal care
Keeping children safe at all times
Assisting with keeping the nursery clean and tidy
Keeping up to date with all coursework

Qualities required:

There is also the prospect of a permanent position and career progression for the successful applicant once qualified.

Hours:

This nursery is open from 8.00 am until 6.00 pm currently, to accommodate the working patterns of parents in the area, and you will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday within these hours.

Requirements:

You must be able to gain a clear DBS, and have GCSE grades A*-C in Maths and English Language (or equivalent i.e. functional skills).

If you do not have these grades you must be willing to work towards them as in the event you would like to progress onto a Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship these are required upon completion of the Level 3.
