Work for an outstanding CQC rated care provider
We make a difference to vulnerable adults and people in our local community - you can too

These roles are due to increasing demand for our high-quality services.

Full driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous for this role

We are recruiting for a small team of people who have specific experience of supporting people who may present challenges.

This role is to work with a small team of support workers, and to work closely with A, her family and health professionals to provide the right level of support and to ensure as much as possible that behaviours that challenge are managed and over time reduced.

A lives in Leamington Spa and has her own property, and the support provided is to support A to live a full life and enjoy doing the things she likes to do, whilst supporting the trauma that A has from time to time.

This is a unique opportunity to support a lady in the community (in her own property), who is both engaging and loves life, but struggles with several emotional challenges.

A is intelligent and when freed from her torments, caring and empathetic person with the potential to be a contributing citizen.

However, knowledgeable, skilled, and reflective support will be required to assist her on this journey.

We cannot stress enough that the provision of sustained, and highly skilled therapeutic relationships are central to breaking the 'vicious circle' that presently obtains, and therefore people who have the relevant background and who are resilient are crucial to this circle of support.

Consistency is also a key element of this package of support, so we expect the team to be small, so that consistency can be maintained, but also, we are looking for longevity and durability, again this is a crucial element to supporting A in a way that ensures that she moves forward and starts to enjoy life.

The Support Team will be based upon 1 to 1 staffing levels with, which will include waking night cover, it is also anticipated that there will be an on call back up service so that there is a support network in place as and when required

Long experience informs us that we need a small and well-led & supported team of intelligent, physically, and emotionally robust, principled, and, ideally, professionally disposed support staff to deliver a successful service.

The ability to work positively with people under a lot of stress is paramount. Crucially, we need the stability associated with no/low turnover and experiential learning applied.

Full training will be provided by the team of phycologists who are very much part of this package for support.
