You will have the support to ensure you are able to focus on delivering outstanding teaching and learning.Responsibilities:
- Technology Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the school's mission and vision.
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a talented team of technology professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the management of the school's technology infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
- Educational Technology Integration: Collaborate with educators to integrate technology seamlessly into the curriculum, enhancing teaching and learning experiences.
- Innovation and Research: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in education to drive innovation within the institution.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring efficient use of resources to achieve strategic objectives.
- Professional Development: Provide training and professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their technology skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within educational technology.
- Strong understanding of technology infrastructure, systems, and software relevant to the education sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Visionary mindset with the ability to drive and implement technological initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
To qualify for this post, you must hold a teaching qualification and QTS along with at least three months of experience in the last two years.
