**Job Spec

Kefir Production Operative**This job involves working with a team of 8 people producing and packaging 150,000 units per week of a drinking yoghurt called kefir. The kefir is packaged in 250ml and 500ml bottles.

Start date:
immediate

Working Days and hours:
Monday to Friday 13:00 - 21:00 (Paid Breaks)

Holidays: 32 days per year.

Duration:
This is a full time job.

This is a very hands-on job

This will include:

Culturing kefir
Mixing fruit to kefir
Operating bottle filling, capping and labelling machinery
Washing the plant and machinery after use

Skills required:

The applicant must:
Have experience working in the food production sector
Have good mathematical and English skills for managing product orders and dispatch
Have a high level of common sense and be adept at fixing broken down machinery
Be versatile and able to cover for other staff when on annual leave
Be willing to work long hours when required to get the job done

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Pay:
£14.00 per hour

Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
