An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dual Diagnosis Practitioner to join a dynamic team across the Greater Manchester (GM) foot print as part of the Housing First project.


Greater Manchester Mental Health (GMMH) are subcontracted by Great Places to provide a Dual Diagnosis service across the Housing First project (HF).

The service has two elements;

Clinical:
Appropriate clinical resource integrated into the Housing First Service.

This resource will either negate the need for people to access wider services or will enable swifter access into existing services.


Training:

Focus on developing the capacity of the Housing First team through training and supervision so that they are more equipped to deal with people with dual needs on a day-to-day, non-clinical basis.


This projectis targeted at people facing multiple needs and exclusion particularly those who have been identified as at severe risk of harm should an early intervention not be forthcoming.


The post will cover:
Zone D: Salford, Trafford and Wigan
