Job Title:
Vehicle Distribution Consultant

Location:
Portbury, BS20 7XN

Salary:
£28,000 to £32,000 dependant on experience

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm (plus cover until 6pm on a rota basis)

Job Status:
Permanent

The Role

Communication with all relevant parties to achieve the optimum results
Quality and timely communication with the dealer network on all areas within the scope of vehicle distribution
Provide specialist support and guidance that is customer focused regarding the company's vehicle distribution systems and processes

Responsibilities

Implementation of the daily sales process relating to vehicle distribution processes
Provide the dealer network with good quality, accurate information in a timely manner for all supply related enquires
Training the dealer network face to face and remotely
Produce and manage the publication of distribution related sales alerts, global communications and the content of the distribution homepage
Manage new vehicle invoicing and related enquiries from all parties
Roll out of new vehicle launch product to the dealer network
Vehicle distribution reporting produce, analyse, follow up, find, and carry out solutions
Maintain procedure documents for internal, network and supplier processes
Manage distribution elements of network structure changes for systems and physical transport
Coordinate specific dealer group management actions, reporting and communication

Skills and expertise

ESSENTIAL

Confident with Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, data manipulation)
Clean driving license
Influence: suggest solutions and benefits to key actors, and influence best result for the customer and commercially
Communication (written and verbal): being able to liaise with various departments internally, in the alliance, Renault Head Office, the network, suppliers and customers
Systems: digest, coach, make best use of all supply related systems
Excellent time management, ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and ability to prioritise changing demands i.e., business critical vs. daytoday
Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot potential problems
Able to establish trust and rapport with others
Willingness to learn
Strong analytical skills

Previous experience in vehicle distribution
Knowledge of Renault Group products, distribution, and finance systems
Knowledge of Renault UK distribution
Experience in supply chain, distribution and logistics
Experience in sales and marketing
Experience in training and coaching
