Our client, an international Freight Forwarding company are currently seeking a Freight Business Development Manager to join their team based in Essex.
Your role as the Freight Business Development Manager will be to build and develop relationships with clients, communicate with leads, and negotiate / close opportunities.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be liaising with customers, suppliers, overseas partners and internal teams, so it goes without saying, having excellent communication skills is a good attribute for this role.
Key requirements for this role:
- Proven experience developing relationships
- Ability to work well both in a team and independently
- Excellent IT skills i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
