Optimus Cards UK Ltd is an Electronic Money Institution authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK under the E-money regulations.

Our business is providing white label card solutions to regulated and non-regulated entities and we issue prepaid cards and debit cards on behalf of our clients.

Optimus is a leader in white label solutions, a dynamic, fast-growing, business, and our client base is varied, counting Credit Unions, fintechs, crypto platforms and UK branches of international banks amongst their number.


The opportunity


As an Optimus Cards Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for our card holders' queries or issues.

You will work within a fast-paced environment, handling a high volume of customer contacts via multiple channels.

You will take responsibility for finding solutions and always do so in a friendly, customer-focussed way, seeking to enhance each customer's perception of our business.


You will be confident, outgoing and energetic and be able to use your excellent communication skills to build relationships with customers and offer an unrivalled service.

You'll do this by delivering a professional experience with every interaction, ensuring you treat customers fairly and always deliver on your promises and show integrity.

We're a regulated business, so ensuring that procedures are followed whilst meeting high service standards and regulatory requirements, is a must.

You'll also be responsible for the timely completion of daily tasks and the accurate processing of transactions and customer instructions.


It goes without saying you'll need to be flexible, as we operate our customer service department 8am to 8pm seven days a week.

You will work up to one in three weekends and a mixture of early and late shifts (8am to 4:30pm and 11:30am to 8pm).

Location


Once trained and able to demonstrate confidence, this role is hybrid with flexibility to work from home and our Birmingham office, or such other place as the Company may reasonably require on a temporary or permanent basis.


Shift hours


20 hours: 8 hours on Sat and Sun (9:00pm -5:30pm) and 4 hours on a Friday evening 5pm to 9pm.
