Brief Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Resourcing Business Partner (RBP) here at Network Rail. You'll form part of our Southern Region Resourcing Team and be the dedicated RBP for our Sussex Route.

We are able to offer hybrid working, with the requirement to be in the office 2/3 days a week.

What to expect?


As Resourcing Business Partner you'll be responsible for the day-to-day recruitment activities and play a key role in helping Sussex Route deliver a safe and reliable railway service through your role in attracting and recruiting a diverse range of talent.


You'll be involved in activities such as:

  • Working on Diversity and Inclusion initiatives to further increase Diversity across the Sussex Route.
  • Providing specialist advice and guidance to hiring managers on attracting a diverse range of talent into Network Rail/Sussex Route.
  • Working with our managers and finance team to provide an accurate resource plan and forecast.
  • Managing and coordinating bespoke recruitment campaigns for a variety of management and frontline roles.
  • Sourcing talent through various recruitment channels and other resourcing methods (e.g. career fairs) such as assessment centres.
  • Keeping talent pools 'warm' through organising online recruitment events, and sending other collateral, such as newsletters.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrates strong business/commercial approach and understanding of business needs.
  • Proven experience of working in partnership and building strong working relationships with senior managers in order to improve resourcing delivery.
  • Passionate about customer service with ability to articulate previous achievements through business deliverables.
  • Knowledge and experience of implementing best practice recruitment solutions to drive a valueadded service.
  • Experience of influencing senior managers.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to negotiate and influence effectively with all levels of an organisation.
  • Understands how to work with the business to identify, develop and implement appropriate resourcing solutions.
  • Proven track record of operating in a complex working environment.

Salary:
£41,511 - £46,925 plus £3,270 Location Allowance
