Description
We seek a highly motived researcher with well-developed analytical skills and a passion for muscle research.

This post is an exciting opportunity to contribute to projects within the newly established _Cellular & Molecular Physiology of Lifelong Health _(CaMP-LH) group at the Research Institute of Sport & Exercise Sciences.

You will use our in-house _Dynamic Proteome Profiling_ techniques to study muscle ageing and exercise responses.

In addition, you will conduct routine proteomic and metabolomic analyses of bodily fluids, and it is likely that you will also contribute to the development of new mass spectrometry methods for the analysis of post-translational modifications.

Prior experience in proteomics is required and you should have a PhD in a field closely related to the project.

It is anticipated that interviews will take on 12th April 2023.

LJMU are committed to adhering to the Principles set out in the Researcher Development Concordat; in line with this all fixed-term researchers will be supported to complete 10 days professional development activities per year (pro-rata).
