Wellingborough

The company
Join a National contractor with a full range of Clients and contracts nationwide.

Our client provides general Facilities Maintenance and Construction project work to the commercial sector as well as renewable energy services to the Public Sector and Private Sector at multiple sites.

This role is Primarily a Office position based in the Wellingborougharea, working on a Renewables contract

The role
Reporting to the Senior Operations manager, while working with business development and Project managers as the team grows.

  • Estimate costs for a variety of locations and sites.
  • Creation of detailed estimates from 1st principles, interrogating submissions from supply chain partners for inclusion into tender / proposal submissions.
  • Creation, population and maintenance of risk registers and presentation at tender settlement meetings.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, supply chain, stakeholders and other third parties.
  • Organise and prepare supply chain enquiries.
  • Prepare financial submissions.
  • Prepare and present estimate in conjunction with bid manager to senior managers and directors at cost estimate review and settlement meeting.
  • Communicate with staff to maintain the maximum efficiency

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring compliance to statutory, mandatory, and contractual obligations
  • Drive to learn and understand new technical solutions within the EV, Battery Energy Storage and renewable energy sectors.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required.
  • Responsibility for the implementation of Health and Safety, quality, environmental system requirements ensuring compliance with all legislation and policy and procedures

Could this be for you?

  • Degree, HND in Engineering or NVQ equivalent level.
  • Ideally Electrically qualified
  • EV experience, or willing to learn
